Jaipur’s small-industry economy runs on gems and jewellery — a gem cutting, polishing and jewellery cluster in the city with a dedicated SEZ and Gem Park at Sitapura — alongside readymade garments, hand block printing at Sanganer and Bagru, handmade paper, handicrafts and wooden furniture, and marble and granite. RIICO’s Sitapura estate and the Vishwakarma Industrial Area are the two largest industrial zones.

An asset-creation incentive of 75% of the State tax due and deposited for ten years from commercial production, plus interest subvention of 3–6% for seven years, EPF/ESI support, and exemptions from electricity duty and mandi fee, with all incentives for an MSME capped at ₹5 crore a year. Unlike Haryana, there is no upfront capital subsidy for a general manufacturer — the benefit flows with your SGST — though agro and food processing have special capital incentives. RIPS 2024 is operative until 31 March 2029.
PMEGP for a new unit (15–35% margin-money subsidy), MUDRA for loans up to ₹20 lakh, CGTMSE to make a bank limit collateral-free, and the ZED certification subsidy for quality marks. SFURTI funds traditional-industry clusters through an implementing agency rather than individual units, so a block-printing cluster applies collectively.
