Haryana Electricity Duty Exemption
Electricity duty exemption was granted under the HEEP framework, which was superseded by the Haryana Progressive MSME & Export Promotion Policy 2026 on 29 July 2026. The fiscal incentives notified under the 2026 policy do not include an electricity duty exemption for MSMEs. Units already enjoying an exemption should verify their remaining entitlement, and units that qualify for the 2026 policy's transitional clause (effective steps taken before 29 July 2026 and commercial production by 29 July 2028) may opt for HEEP 2020 incentives. Other new units should confirm the position with the Directorate of MSME, Haryana — a separate exemption may continue under the Make in Haryana Industrial Policy 2026.
